Which Day?

 

     Have you ever been lied to? Do you remember the feelings you felt? Maybe, at first you were angry, displeased, shocked and overwhelmed with sorrow. Then a sudden feeling of peace over-came you, realizing the truth had set you free.
     Sadly, we all have been lied to and inevitably we will be lied to again. Some lies may seem small, not amounting to anything, but every lie that is told is sin. Revelation 21:7-8, 'He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his Elohim, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable; and murders, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.' (1) Everytime we sin, we separate ourselves from Elohim. Elohim is Set Apart (holy) and can not be in the presence of sin. He loves us so much, that He made a way for us to be able to fellowship with Him. That way happens to be through his Son, Yahushua HaMashiach. He is our High Priest that has entered once into the Set Apart Place making atonement for our sins. In Scriptures Yahushua called one the 'Father of Lies' (John 8:44). Whether we like it or not this one does have children! Scriptures refer to them as 'wolves in sheep's clothing.'
     In one form or another, we all have grown accustomed in accepting man-made traditions. Uncovering the truth, can at first seem very painful, resulting in a wave of mixed emotions; but knowing the truth will set us free. Ask yourself, beloved friend, do YOU want to be set free? Or do you want to stay in your comfort zone taking part in the evil web that has been spinning since the beginning of time? Most lies do not stand up and say, "hey look at me I'm a lie!" On the contrary, they are hidden behind layers of secrets!
     I pondered on the following verses, Matthew 7:22-23, "Many will say to me in that day, Master, Master, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils, and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you, depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
    Yahushua is talking to ones that work iniquity. What is iniquity? It is the violation of law, moral evil. We know the Ten Commandments teach us the moral law, therefore iniquity is lawlessness, which is breaking the Ten Commandments, the moral law. These ones work lawlessness. We are told the following in, Matthew 24:12, "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall be wax cold." Without a doubt, many heart's are cold. Let us now see what day Eloah did sanctify, Genesis 2:3, "And Elohim blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it; because that in it he had rested from all his work, which Elohim created and made." According to the, "Strong's Complete Dictionary of Bible Words", the word sanctified means: to be, make clean, to purify, (to observe as), (be, keep, kept) holy." (2) This 'seventh day' is to be set apart different than the other six days.

Days of the Week

     As we have just read, Elohim set the seventh day apart from the other six days. Let us look at the Days of the Week! When looking at the calendar we see that Sunday is the first day of the week. Monday is the second day, Tuesday is the third day of the week. Wednesday is the fourth day of the week. Thursday is the fifth day of the week. Friday is the six day of the week and Saturday is the seventh day of the week.
     According to 'The Jerusalem Bible' (3) we find under Supplements the following information about the Calendar: "The Jewish week was not determined by the phases of the moon so much so that a feast day upon which work was forbidden, such as the Passover, rarely fell on the Sabbath. As the new moon rises in the evening, the day was reckoned as from 'one sunset to the next.' The day of the full moon of Nisan (Passover) therefore began on the evening of the 14^th. The night was divided into three watches. The Roman system had four watches, dividing the period from sunrise to sunset into 12 hours, the sixth hour thus falling at midday' (noon). We get our system of time from pagan Rome, (sunrise to sunrise) unlike YAHUAH's, time, sunset to sunset. A 24 hour day starts and ends at sunset."
     The Roman calendar is still how we reckon time, despite the fact that not only are the days of the week named after pagan deities, but all 12 months as well! We must remember, that the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, did not name the days of the week. He only numbered the days.
     Exodus 23:13, "And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the names of other elohims, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth." Uh, oh! Let us take a look at the 'names' we have grown accustomed to using. For further more indepth look into the days of the week I strongly recommend reading, Fossilized Customs. (4)
     The first day of the week is named: SUN-Day meaning dies Solis, the Day-of-the-Sun. The following is a list of some of the pagan deities (please take note that these different names are from the different cultures throughout time but this is the same deity being worshipped): Baal (Lord), Moloch, Ahura-Mazda, Dagon, Sol, Marduk, Mithra, Krisna, Amon-Ra, Woden (odin), Zues, Deus and even Nimrod. 
     The second day of the week is named, MON-Day meaning the Day-of-the-Moon, lunae dies.We get the word month from the word mona. The moon was identified with Artemis or Diana.
     The third day of the week is named, TUES-Day meaning Tyr's Day, day of Tiu, a Teutonic Druid-Celtic idol. Tyr or Tiu, was the Norse deity of war, considered the son of Odin (Woden).
     The forth day of the week is named, WEDNES-Day meaning Woden Odin a Celtic deity. Was considered highly skilled in magic (majik). And was the Teutonic Pagan husband of Frigga. This day was also honored as Mercuril dies (Mercury Day).

The fifth day is named, THURS-Day named the Celtic Thor's Day: deity of thunder and son of Woden and Frigga. Romans honored Jupiter on this day, was originally IU-Pitar, meaning Jovis-father. Jovis corresponds to Zeus. Thors emblem is the hammer and it was secretly interpreted as the letter 'T', going back to Tammuz (a Jewish month after the exile, our June/July), son of Nimrod and Semiramis.
     The sixth day is named, FRI-Day meaning Frey Day or Frigga Day. Frigga was the wife of Woden. This day was the Egyptian's day of Isis. The Greeks honored Aphrodite on this day, the fertility deity.
     The seventh day is named, SATUR-Day meaning the day of Saturn. This deity was for agriculture and corresponds with the Greek deity Cronus.

Sabean worship consists of worshipping the whole celestial body of heaven. As the planets circumbulate the sun, the people would mimic this motion as they circumbulate a physical or an imaginary (visualized) object. This type of worship has crept into the calendar . Clearly, the days of the week are named after the Sabean worship.
     We learn in Acts 7:42 the following: "Then Elohim turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?" Time and time again, we learn that the children of Israel would partake in Sabean worship. (2 Kings 17:16; 21:3,5; 2 Chronicles 33:5; Jeremiah 19:13; Zephaniah 1:5). Truly, many have gone and worshipped the creation other than the Creator. Yep, friends, this calendar of our's comes straight from pagan Rome, full of false deity worship. Not to mention going against what Elohim has said, "learn not the ways of the pagans" (Jermiah 10:2). The Scriptures is the 'cause' and the 'effects' are the manifestations found throughout history.
     The Calendar that many of us have grown accustomed to comes from the solar, unlike lunisolar. The Gregorian Calendar named after Pope Gregory XIII is also known as the Christan Calendar.
This calendar was made to fix the confusion over scheduling when the holiday known as Easter (Ishtar/Asherim) would be held. Of course this Easter takes place during the vernal equinox when it is believed mother earth is impregnated. She goes through a nine month gestation period ending at the winter solistic (Dec.25).
     In 321 C.E. Constantine set the following days:
     1. Dies Solis-Sun day
     2. Dies Lunae-Moon day
     3. Dies Martis-Mar's day
     4. Dies Mercoril-Mercury's day
     5. Dies Iovis-Jupiter's day
     6. Dies Vemeros- Venus's day
     7. Dies Saturni-Sturn's Day. 
     Today we have Sunday (sun), Monday (moon), Tuesday (Tyr old Norse deity), Wednesday (Woden an old English deity), Thursday (Thor an old Norse deity), Friday (Frigg Norse female deity) and Saturday (Saturn a Roman deity).

A Glimpse of History

     Yahushua Mashiach spoke about many that would be persecuted for their faith in him. John 15:20, "Remember the word that I said unto you, the servant is not greater than his lord (master). If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; If they have kept my sayings, they will keep yours also." The adversary (Satan, devil) has killed thousands of followers for their faith in Yahushua Messiah. The Romans killed these faithful ones for their faith.
They were tortured, burned alive, fed to lions and hung on stakes. Many believe that Nero was indeed the anti-Messiah. I believe that Nero, along with many others carried the anti-Messiah spirit within him. We must rememeber that the term anti-Messiah can be many people. They have the same spirit. Anti-Messiah not only opposes everything the Messiah stands for, but also it comes in place of the real one.
     That is why the Messiah spoke about 'wolves in sheep's clothing' (Matthew 7:15). Astonishingly, the horrific torture these faithful ones witnessed did not stop them from practicing their faith. They had an unwillingness to submit to the demands of the Romans by compromising their faith. When the Church and State united, they new it was easier to eliminate 1% than to kill the 99%. These faithful servants were not even called 'Christians' they were called, 'Nazarenes'. They were also called, Natsarim meaning sect of Nazarenes, watchmen, branches. And who is the vine? Yahushua of course is the vine. We are the branches. They were not called Christian. Yahushua Messiah is their high-priest. They called on his real name (not the more popular Hellenized version). They also kept the Ten Commandments of Elohim, which included the Seventh-Day Sabbath. Let us ponder on why would Yahushua tell us that the Sabbath was made for man, then change what day is the Sabbath? There was only one weekly Sabbath and when He said Sabbath He meant the weekly day of rest for the children of Elohim. This is an everlasting sign between Elohim and His children. He tells us the following: Mathew 24-20, "But pray your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day." This chapter talks about the end times, the Great Tribulation/Great Distress. Yahushua Messiah is telling His followers, pray that your flight be not in the winter nor on a Sabbath day. He was referring to the Seventh Day Sabbath. He knew that many of His Followers would remember this day and keep it 'set apart'. The Sabbath day, is an everlasting sign between Elohim and his children. (Exodus 31: 16,17).

 

The Attack from Within!

 

     Luke 16:13, "No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other, You cannot serve Elohim and mammon."

     Knowing that we can only serve one Elohim and make that one Master of our lives, the adversary doesn't want us to serve or even know the one true Elohim. This adversary, has spread his lethal weapon of eternal destruction within the church. Slowly, he begins to move his queen in the front, removing one pawn at a time. Taking out the castle, moving down the line picking one off at a time. Until all that seems left is confusion and hopelessness with our KING still standing. HalleluYah, Praise be to Yah! For He is the living Elohim. We shall know the truth and the truth shall free us! (John 8:32).
     For unity in the Empire, Constantine sees an image (the cross) in the sky and he declares Christianity to be the official state religion. He continued to worship the sun, moon and all the host of heaven, while declaring that everyone would give honor to the 'Sol Dies' or 'Sol Invictus,' the unconquered sun. Of course, this degree was under penalty of death. Many true followers fled for their lives, while others submitted to the degree.
     In the great book of Daniel we are told that the following would happen: Daniel 7:25, "And he shall speak great words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws."  Praise be to Yah! See how the truth will set us free? Man has thought to change times and laws. The times that man has thought to change is Elohim's feast days and His law, the Torah. Through-out Scripture we know that Elohim has and will keep a remnant. These remnants have always remained pure. They would not worship false deities. Mark 7:7, "Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching the doctrines the commandments of men." After Constantine declared the state religion to be Christianity, 'compromise' and the 'negotiations' began. Leaving us truth with error. Can a little error hurt anyone? Galations 5:9, "A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump." We can not mix light with darkness! We can not mix error with truth. A divided house will fall.
     Someone once told me that the adversary, Satan does not know the scriptures that is why he is so confused. I whole heartily disagree. The adversary does know the scriptures how else could he deceive the whole world even if it were possible the elect? He must know scriptures in order to twist it giving us a Religious Malt of Babylon.' This malt is based on confusion.
    He takes the commandment of:  "remember to keep holy [set apart] the Sabbath", which he then puffs up to appear that Sun-day is the true Sabbath. He claimed the Messiah rose on the 'first day' of the week [discussed in depth later in this booklet], making billions believe that the seventh day Sabbath, is just for the Jews. Actually these believers are Yahudim [followers of Yah], not Jews, so yet another misleading lie.     
The Seventh-Day Sabbath is not the Jew's Sabbath, it is the Sabbath of YHWH. Paul tells us that there is neither Jew nor Greek, male nor female (Galatians 3:28). We also know that this seventh day Sabbath was not just for Jew's but was sanctified at the time of creation (Genesis 2:3). Then become an everlasting sign between YHWH and the Israelistes (Exodus 31:13). We are grafted into the vine, the vine is Yahushua Messiah. We become adoptee's (Romans 11:17). Are you starting to see how this light with darkness has crept into our man-made traditions? Sadly, this audience happens to be continually growing to the point scriptures tells us that the whole world is deceived.  Let us go a little further. Not only does the adversary through the power of man give the illusion that the Sabbath is the first day of the week, but he goes to the extreme and changes another commandment. Let's first review, YHWH's Ten Commandments:

 

1.Thou shalt have no other elohims before Me.

2.Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them, for I YHWH Elohim am a jealous Elohim, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments.

3.Thou shalt not take the name of YHWH, thy Elohim in vain; for YHWH will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain.

4.Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thy labor, an do all thy work: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of YHWH thy Elohim; in it thou shalt not do any work, thou. Nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: for in six days, YHWH made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore YHWH blessed the Sabbath day, and set apart it.

5.Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which YHWH thy Elohim giveth thee.

6.Thou shalt not murder

7.Thou shalt not commit adultery

8.Thou shalt not steal.

9.Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor's

10.Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors' house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbors' wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor.

Now let us look at the Ten Commandments changed by man. Taken from Catholic's Catechism (5). Pay close attention to the second Commandment. Catholic means Universal!

 

1. I am the Lord thy God; thou shalt not have strange gods before me.

2. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.

3. Remember that thou keep holy the Sabbath day.

4. Honor thy father and thy mother.

5. Thou shalt not kill.

6. Thou shalt not commit adultery.

7. Thou shalt not steal.

8. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

9. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife

10.Thou not covet thy neighbor's goods.

 

     Interesting huh? Hello, where is the second commandment? You know the one that says you shall not make any graven images (idols) and you shall not bow down yourself to them nor serve them? This is amazing, how man thinks to change times and laws!
     What has the adversary accomplished by doing this? He has made the pagans happy because they get to worship their sun deity (there is only one being, called the accuser, adversary, but yet this one has many names). The children of YHWH are now breaking the "keep holy (set apart) the Sabbath" every week. Turning to Deuteronomy 17:3,  "And has gone and served other elohims, worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded." If anyone served the sun, moon, or any of the host of heaven, male or female, they would be stoned to death. We know from scriptures that we do not stone anyone to death anymore. The reason being, is because vengeance belongs to Elohim. However, back in those days they did.
     Oh, my friend, it doesn't stop there! We just read how the second commandment has vanished. Therefore, leading many pagan idols to get a face-lift. For instance, the Roman deity Jupitor is renamed 'St. Peter'. To this day, millions have bowed down and kissed this idol's foot. This golden idol can still be found at the Vatican. It's big toe hangs over the step.
     Next, we find pictures of dead saints covering the church walls. These people are dead! This is the same old pagan worship just puffed up with a new spin, 'All Saints Day', 'All Souls Day', 'All Hallows' Eve (Halloween). Again, a direct breaking of the second commandment. Many excuses not to obey have slipped into this 'religious malt'. Like he knows my heart and in my heart I worship him. Titus 1:16, "They profess that they know Elohim; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate." Wow, this audience has now been tricked! Many think they are serving the true Elohim but in works they are not keeping His commandments. 1 John 2:4, "He that saith, I know him and keepeth not his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him." Tell me, how can someone repent (turn back) if they do not know they are breaking a commandment? They can't possible repent, if they do not know the moral law, the Ten Commandments! My beloved friend, the adversary, is the root being hidden deep under the ground. The Roman Universal Church is the trunk. Some 2,000 branches are the different denominations within Christianity, with branches forming each season. Having some truth to them but are being fed from under the ground. There is the mother harlot with daughters. Ask yourself, just who is this mother harlot and her daughters? Yahushua said, Matthew 15:14, "Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch."
    Please, do not follow blind guides, by accepting man-made traditions, and commandments of men. Instead take time to pray for wisdom, truth and understanding. Then the root will be exposed. All that do shall be freed from the twisted web that has been spinning since the garden. As individuals we need to read the scriptures for ourselves. Test the spirits and to discern between truth and error. Ephesian. 6:12, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

 

Excuses, Excuses!

 

     It never stop's amazing me, all the excuses some will come up with in being disobedient. Raising children, you think you've heard it all but there is always that one excuse that will just throw you for a loop. For instance, you tell your child, since you are the parent, not to eat any cookies because dinner is almost done. Your child, keeps using the famous, 'but' word. You tell him, for dinner you can have a cookie for desert. Thinking you solved the issue at hand, you go in the other room only to come back, finding your five year old, up on a chair, leaning half-way onto the kitchen counter-top with his hand in the cookie jar! One wrong move, down he goes along with the cookie jar. Your mouth drops to the floor while for a moment, you are in a state of, "Now I know I'm not seeing my child deliberately do something I just told him not to do." 
     "But Mommy, I...I...was just getting the cookie to eat after dinner!" He says with a mouth full of chocolate chips! Truly, we can relate to this mother and the frustration she must be feeling. We all are children. Some of us have one Father. The love this Father has towards us, brings a whole new meaning to the word 'patience'. And we show our love towards him, by being obedient to his Word (Torah).
     Then there are the rebellious ones, like the child in the above story. 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12, "For the mystery of iniquity (lawlessness, breaking the moral law/Torah), doth already work; only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then the Wicked (lawless one) be revealed. whom the Master shall consume with the spirit of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs of lying wonders. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause Elohim shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." 
     One excuse is, He knows my heart and I worship Him in my heart. According to the American Heritage Illustrated Encyclopedia Dictionary, we find the following under, Humanism: 'A philosophy or attitude that addresses itself exclusively to human as opposed to divine or supernatural concerns, often coupled with the belief that man is capable of reaching self-fulfillment without divine aid. A cultural and intellectual movement of a secular character that occurred during the Renaissance following the rediscovery of the literature, art, and civilization of ancient Greece and Rome.'
     Humanism is when one starts reasoning that evil is not really evil. They decide what is and is not acceptable. In so doing they grow further and further away from our guide, the Scriptures. Sure they may read the scriptures but will say things like: 1. That is Old Testament stuff. 2. We live in the New Testatment now. 3. I don't think it means that. 4. He knows my heart. 5. Elohim changes. In the great book of Isaiah 5:20, we find, 'Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter." For an example, say you started studying the scriptures to find out what Elohim has to say about witchcraft. We are told to, 'Study to shew thyself approved unto Elohim, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.' (2 Timothy 2:15) In the process you come across the following verses: 1 Samuel 15:23; 2 Chronicles 33:6; Galatians 5:20; Micah 5:12; and Nahum 3:4 to name a few.
     After finding out how Elohim feels about witchcraft you eagerly share this new founded news with others! As the conversation continues, your excitement turns to sorrow because the other person simple says, "Oh, that don't mean that. No he is not saying that at all!" Do you see how humanism works? Ok, let us proceed back to the Sabbath! More Sababth excuses, "The Sabbath hasn't even begun yet." Here is another one, "It doesn't matter which day as long as you set a day and pray." Really? Scriptures tells us we are to be obedient to His 'WORD' and we must worship Him in truth and in spirit. His Sabbath is an everlasting sign (seal) between Him and His children (Exodus 31:13).
     When we heard the call to come out of Babylon, we were attending a Christian Denomination. We quit attending and a few months went by, I started finding tracts on the front porch. When we pass out tracts we go to every door on any given street. My neighbor did not get any tracts on her porch, just ours. It was then, when I realized I was going to have to tell them why we no longer attend. Surprisingly, the Preacher admitted to me, that Saturday was the Sabbath for Jews. He went on to tell me that this Sabbath was a sign between Elohim and the Israelites. According to, Genesis 2:3, "And Elohim blessed the seventh day and sanctified it; because that in it he had rested from all his work which Elohim created and made." From the beginning, this seventh day was sanctified by Elohim. "But...but we are not Jews!" 
     Here again that is the humanism philosophy. Galatians 3:28, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Yahushua Messiah." We also find in Romans 11:17;24 that we must be grafted into the olive branch. Scriptures also tells us that there is to be one law (Torah) for the the stranger and the homeborn alike (Exodus 12:49; Leviticus 24:22; Numbers 15:16).
     The Preacher, then went on to ask me, "What G-d do you serve, being Saturday is named after Saturn?" Can you believe this? Here we were members of this church, helped out anyway we could but yet after all this time he asked what G-d do I serve? Doesn't he know that Elohim numbered the day's not named them, especially after pagan deities. Since, Elohim can't lie why would he tell us not to mention the names of pagan deities then turn around and name the days of the week after them?Men lie. 1 John 4:1, "Beloved, believe not every spirit but try the Spirits whether they are of Elohim: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." Let's take an in-depth look at the last two excuses some have for being disobedient to the law.

Master of the Sabbath!

     This excuse, sadly is one of the biggest error within the Christian family. Many people claim the reason why Sunday is now the Christian Sabbath is because Yahushua Messiah rose on that day. Up till this part of this booklet, we have uncovered that it was Constantine in 321 C.E. that declared Sunday the day of rest under a death penalty in honor of 'Sol Invintus'. Now let us look at what day did Yahushua Messiah rise on, was it Sunday or could it have possibly been another day?
     Matthew 12:39-40, "But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly, so shall the Son of Man be THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS in the heart of the earth." You know that is pretty clear but yet the adversary is the author of confusion. "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:" (John 10:10) Please do not let the adversary steal the simplicity of our Father's words. Let us turn to John 19:14, "And it was the preparation of the Passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!" This is not the weekly preparation of the seventh day Sabbath. We find this was a much anticipated High Sabbath. John 19:31, 'The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross/stake on the Sabbath day, (FOR THAT SABBATH DAY WAS AN HIGH DAY,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken down.' Now we know this was a special high yearly Sabbath. He gave up His spirit about the ninth hour which is about 3:00 in the afternoon. Mark 15: 33,34,37, "And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour Yahushua cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? Which is, being interpreted, My Elohim, My Elohim, why hast thou forsaken me? And Yahushua cried with a loud voice and gave up the spirit."
     Let us now begin the seventy-two hour count. Wednesday about the ninth hour (3:00 in the afternoon) He gave up His Spirit. Wednesday to Thursday the ninth hour is one day (24 hours). Thursday to Friday at the ninth hour is two days (48 hours). Friday at the ninth hour to Saturday at the ninth hour is three days (72 hours). Three full days and three full nights. Notice the following three full nights.

 

     The above shows three full days. Remember Yahushua told us that the only sign they would get is the sign of Jonas, three days and three nights. Scriptures also tell us, that it was about the ninth (3:00) hour when our Saviour gave up His Spirit. For the sake of argument, let's say Yahushua Messiah gave up His Spirit on Thursday at the ninth hour. First full night would be Thursday, second full night would be Friday and the third full night would be Saturday. First full day would be Friday, second full day would be Saturday and the third full day would be Sunday at about the ninth hour (3:00).
     Believe it or not, once I point this out to some they still manage to make excuses, for the claim that he rose Sunday morning (Easter Sunday). Then I kindly show them the following verse, John 20:1, "The first day of the week (remember time was from sunset to sunset so this would be Saturday evening), cometh Mary Magdalene early, WHEN IT WAS YET DARK, unto the supulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre." Mary waited until the weekly Sabbath had ended, while it was still dark out, when she gets to the tomb the stone is taken away. This would be Saturday night!  Can you see how the adversary has managed to trick billions into thinking He rose on Sunday? If He gave up His Spirit at the ninth hour on Thursday instead of Wednesday then the full day would have been Sunday, not morning, but during the day around the 3:00 hour in the afternoon. But yet from scriptures when Mary gets there, Saturday night (first day of the week) when it was yet DARK, the tomb was empty! Making Yahushua Messiah 'Master of the Sabbath!'
     What about Easter Sunday? Yahushua does not lie, when he said three days and three nights he meant it. Men lie! If we go by what Yahushua said then the following chart will show when the three full days and nights would be if He gave up His Spirit at the 9^th hour (3:00) Friday afternoon. Many teach that Friday was the day!
     There is no possible way one can squeeze 72 hours from Friday afternoon (Good Friday) to Sunday morning (Easter).

 

     Sadly, many have heard the Truth but because of harden hearts, pridefulness, stubbornness, being lukewarm, having itching ears many have adopted the humanism philosophy. So many have grown accustom to man-made traditions, including the commandments of men, that it is to hard to repent (turn back around to Him).
     But what about Yahushua's followers, didn't they gather on the first day of the week? Good question. let us take a look at Acts 20:7. According to the, 'The Interlinear Greek-English New Testament Third Edition' (6) Acts 20:7, "And the one of the Sabbaths, having been gathered the disciples to break bread, Paul reasoned to them, being about to depart on the morrow continued and the discourse until midnight."
     During this time period there was only one Sabbath and that was the seventh day. Many translations use the term 'first day of the week' leading many to think they gathered on Sunday morning. Did they? Let's see, the word 'Sabbaths' in this verse is in plural form meaning more than one weekly Sabbath. This would have been Saturday night, after the sun had set, close to midnight.
     They gathered on the weekly Sabbath and after the sun had set we are now in the first day, being Saturday evening. Paul reasoned with them until midnight. They did not meet on Sunday morning but during the seventh day Sabbath.
     What about the 'L-rd's Day? One word can change the whole meaning of a verse or sentence. According to the, 'Interlinear Greek-English New Testament Third Edition', Revelation 1:10, reads as follows: Revelation 1:10,  "I came to be in the Spirit on the Lords day." King James Version reads as follows: "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day." One translation reads "I was in" but the Greek says, 'I came to be'. 'Was' is past tense while 'Came to be' is future tense. Meaning John's spirit left his flesh body and he came to be, was being shown the future by being placed in the great day of Yah! A day still yet to come.
     Let us now look at Hebrews 4:9, "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of Elohim." Here is the same verse in the orginal Greek, 'ara apoleipetai sabbatismoV tw law tou qeou.' Notice the words in bold? There is a big difference in the word 'rest' and 'sabbatismo'. The latter explains to us in more detail what this rest actually is. The word Strong's #4520 Sabbatismos is used in this verse means: a keeping Sabbath. Hebrews 4:9 is actually telling us that there remains therefore a Sabbath keeping to the people of Elohim!  Now ponder for a moment, 'how many have made claims that the Sabbath has been done away with?' A vast amount have made such claims. Oh my beloved friend, this is a very dangerous heresy! Satan, the adversary hates the the Fourth Commandment. He has tried every means possible to destroy it! Why would he do that? Because the Fourth Commandment tells us what Elohim we worship and serve! Either we serve the one who made the heavens, earth, and everything they hold and have received His seal or we serve the counterfeit, with his Sabbath, holidays, name and have received his mark!

 

Hung Up!

 

Many have said, the law was hung on the cross. Does scriptures really say this or are we just being taught this by some who take verses out of context then base doctrine on it?
     The answer can be found in the 'Word'. Remember the word is the Torah, that was made flesh and dwelt among us. Malachi 3:6, "For I am YHWH, I change not." He does not change either does Yahushua. Scriptures tells us that Yahushua is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow (Hebrews 13:8).
     Let us look at the following verse, Matthew 22:37-40, "Thou shalt love YHWH thy Elohim with all thy heart and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Did you read anywhere in that verse where Yahushua Messiah is telling us not to do the commandments? He takes the Ten Commandments and splits them into two. The first four tells us how to love the Father. While the last six, tells us how to love our neighbor. Yahushua Messiah does tells us the following: Matthew 5:17, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets: I am not come to destroy but to fulfill."
     We know Yahushua Messiah was perfect. Being perfect means he did not break any of the law. He is the unblemished sacrificed Lamb that takes the worlds sins away. Therefore, we no longer need to make burnt offerings. He entered into the Set Apart Place once, making atonement for our sins. He is our High Priest in the order of Melchisedec. The  Law that was hung was not the moral law, the Ten Commandments but the Ceremonial law. Do me a favor, look outside and tell me if the sky is there? As far as I can tell this earth age is still here also because we have not yet entered into the millennium. Yahushua Messiah tells us, Matthew 5:18, "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."
    What does Paul tell us about the law? Romans 3:31, "Do we make void the law through our faith? Elohim forbid." If we go by the anti-law teachers that claim there is no moral law because it was hung up, watch what happens. According to, Romans 7:7, "What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Elohim forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet." Once the moral law is removed, then how does one know they have broken one of the Ten Commandments? There is no possible way of knowing! Then it goes even further, once the moral law is removed, there is no way of knowing what sin is and is not, therefore if there is no sin then the crucifixion of our Saviour, Yahushua Messiah, has become vain, empty! If there is no moral law then there is no need to be saved from breaking it! Once, we look at the moral law, we realize we have indeed transgressed the law then we turn to Yahushua Messiah. The law is then written on our hearts

The Challenge

Revelation 14:12, "Here are the patience of the saints, here are they that keep the commandments of YHWH and have the faith of Yahushua."
This verse hastwo parts to it. We need to ask, what is the subject matter? The saints (set Apart ones)! They do something and yet they have something. They keep the commandments of YHWH and they have the faith of Yahushua Messiah. Sadly, the adversary has spun this wicked web from all sides. On the one side of the coin, many keep the law but lack faith of the Messiah,Yahushua. On the other side, many have the faith of Yahushua Messiah, yet they have been deceived into thinking since they are under grace they do not have to be obedient in keeping the Ten Commandments. 1 John 2:4, "He that saith, I know him and keepeth not his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him." We are told in the great book of Revelation the following, Revelation 18:4, "And I heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out of her my people that you be not partakers of her sins and that you receive not of her plagues." Have you ever wondered how a fish can swim against the current? Can a fish even do this? Seems like it would be very hard. Through-out the pages of both the Old Testament and the New Testament we know that the so-called righteous ones, were the very ones that killed the prophets. When one starts to dig down to the root, uncovering the hidden lies exposing the darkness, all of a sudden you will find yourself swimming up stream against the current! In the process, you will be shunned, called names, made fun of, given weird looks, called you are a cult. �Webster�s New Twentieth Century Dictionary Of The English Language� (7) the word �cult� is defined as the following: worship, reverential honor; religious devotion.

Interesting, seems we all fall into this category. I�ve even been told I�m going to hell and I serve a different deity than most. The very ones, that will do this to you, are the people you care about and love. Like family members, friends, preachers, ministers, neighbors, co-workers, etc. We are no longer invited to family functions, no phone calls, told we are not welcome until we change our ways back to what feels and sounds good to them! Can you believe this? Sadly, many do not want to hear the, �call to come out of Babylon.� Too many people are happy getting their ears tickled. Going to this church or that church picking what sounds and feels good to them. One must ask, are they being obedient to the word? Yahushua said, Matthew 10:34, �Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I come not to send peace, but a sword.� What exactly is this sword? Scriptures tell us, �for the Word of Yahuah is quick and powerful, sharper than any two edge double sword� (Hebrew 4:12)! What is Yahuah�s word? The Word is the Torah, and became flesh and dwelt among men. He also tells us in Luke 12:52, �For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two

against three.�

We love our family members and friends; I cannot help but to wonder why many no longer like us, since we have changed our beliefs over the Sabbath! We have not judged them, they can do as they like. Truly, the words spoken by Yahushua will never pass away.

Even though we have been shunned, we still have our lives unlike the ones that have been killed for their Sabbath beliefs. There was a �National Sunday Law� and in some places of Canada there still remains �blue laws�. One cannot cut their grass on Sunday; fill their gas tanks up, etc. I have never heard and we will never hear of any �blue laws� for keeping the seventh day Sabbath. Have you ever heard of a National Seventh Day Sabbath law under penalty of death by mans government? Eloah will NOT force His laws on anyone! Interesting huh?

The Challenge to you is, do you hear the call? Do you have ears to hear? Eyes to see? Can you swim up-stream, against the current, having the written �word� of Eloah to direct and lead you? Do you have the Torah written on your heart?

We are told in the great book of Revelation, there are seven churches, do you know out of the seven churches (congregations) five are told to repent or else He will spew them out of His mouth, remove their candlestick and the sword will pierce them! There just goes the �once saved always saved� (OSAS) doctrine. He also tells us, those who remain until the end will be saved.

Buying and Selling

During a magic show, the magician tricks his/her audience by having the audience's attention on the right hand while it is the left hand that pulls off the trick, leaving the audience to wonder in Awe!

Sometimes we focus on other things and I believe that is why Yahushua told us to 'stay awake'. Revelation 13:11, "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon." This beast appears to be righteous but is a dragon. Daniel 7:25," And he shall speak great words against the Most High and shall wear out the saints of the Most High and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time, and times, and the dividing of time.� Let us also turn to, �Revelation 13:16, And that no man might buy or sell save he that had the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name.�

The Scriptures tell us that if one has the �mark of the beast� they can buy and they can sell. But their names will not be written in the Lamb�s Book Of Life. Eloah is not about confusion and He speaks simplicity to those that are His. The adversary, through men, may have programmed many of us into thinking about this or that getting our attention on others things, while we over-look the left hand?

Do scriptures tell us that there is one day out of the week where one cannot buy and sell? The great book of Nehemiah tells, 1:7, �We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandest thy servant Moses.� In Nehemiah 13:15-22, we find that there is day! When one would keep the Seventh Day Sabbath a �set apart� day, they could not bring any burden in, could not buy nor sell! So there we have it, if one would keep the Seventh Day Sabbath then they could not buy nor sell on the Seventh Day. This is very interesting.
